DNS Monitoring

Supports Internet (IN) and Chaos (CH) server classes.

Supported server lookup types include:

  • Normal IP Address (A)
  • Mail Server (MX)
  • Name Server (NS)
  • Text Strings (TXT)

Monitor points include:

  • DNS availability
  • DNS forward lookup response time
  • DNS reverse lookup response time

NTP Monitoring

Supports NTP and SNTP server types

Monitor points include:

  • Lost contact with server
  • Response time threshold
  • Offset threshold
  • Jitter threshold
  • No server updated from any peer
  • Server is not fully initialized

DHCP Monitoring

Monitor points include:

  • DHCP server unavailable
  • DCHP response time threshold

LDAP Monitoring

  • Supports multiple connection methods—including normal LDAP and Secure LDAP
  • Supports SIMPLE Bind and GSSAPI (Kerberos) credentials

Any desired test queries can be run and monitored for:

  • Number of records found
  • Query response time threshold
    • Threshold violations can also automatically trigger custom command execution
