The CA Nimsoft Cisco probe performs SNMP GET queries to Cisco SNMP devices supporting the CISCO-CLASS-BASED-QoS-MIB, transforming the query result into alarms and/or performance samples for performance trending or SLA tracking purposes.
The probe supports SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, and SNMPv3.
The following counters are monitored on the devices:
- Pre Policy Bitrate
The bit rate of the traffic prior to executing any QoS policies.
- Post Policy Bitrate
The bit rate of the traffic after executing QoS policies.
- Drop Bitrate
The bit rate of the drops per class as the result of all features that can produce drops (e.g., police, random detect, etc.).
- Post Policy Byte
The 64 bits count of outbound octets after executing QoS policies.
- Dropped Bytes
The 64 bits counter of dropped bytes per class as the result of all features that can produce drops (e.g., police, random detect, etc.).
- Dropped Packets
The 64 bits counter of dropped packets per class as the result of all features that can produce drops (e.g., police, random detect, etc.).
