NMS for VMware
With the Nimsoft Monitoring Solution (NMS) for VMware, organizations can harness a comprehensive solution for monitoring and optimizing performance in VMware environments.
Plus, with NMS, organizations can monitor and manage all the operating systems and business applications that run in this virtualized environment—and get insights into the performance end users experience from these business applications.

Gaining Visibility and Control over Dynamic VMware Environments
While VMware's virtualization capabilities ushered in a world of potential benefits, they also brought an entirely new world of challenges from a monitoring perspective. When virtualization gets implemented, an entirely new layer of "moving parts" gets added to the mix, and dramatically increases the complexity of monitoring business applications and the infrastructure upon which they rely.
How can organizations efficiently monitor this virtualized infrastructure? How can they ensure that the VMware infrastructure and all the applications that run in this virtual environment are optimized?
NMS for VMware is a comprehensive solution for monitoring and optimizing performance in VMware environments with many capabilities including:
Highly scalable Multi-hosts, Multi-VCs monitoring
The VMware probe is able to support large number of hosts and Virtual Centers (VC's) per probe. A single probe can collect data from hundreds of hosts and VCs. The probe offers comprehensive monitoring metrics with hierarchy of multiple hosts and VCs.
Discovery Management Views
The probe offers discovery management views of all VCs, ESX, VMs and resource pools. You can also manage and discover relationships of all components in the virtual infrastructure (Data Centers, ESX, VM's, Resource Pools, etc.)
It provides two key views:
- From a guest perspective view what host it is running on, which resource pools it is a member of.
- From a host perspective view that show what guests are running on that host.
NMS keeps an internal inventory view using the probe configuration GUI.
