Actelion IT is a global biopharmaceutical company. This presentation will demonstrate how NimBUS can be used to manage a complex heterogeneous infrastructure that stretches around the globe. You will learn how Actelion is utilizing NimBUS to manage the complete IT infrastructure at locations ranging from Japan, Switzerland and the US. The use of individual dashboards allows Actelion to instantly visualize the status of a wide range of IT objects ranging from hardware components, databases, network and middleware right up to the application itself. The presentation will also shed light on how NimBUS can support Incident and Problem-Management. Actelion has successfully integrated NimBUS into an overall Service Desk Solution that automatically generates an Incident Ticket based on defined thresholds, to support the ITIL process defined as Incident and Problem Management.
