Nimsoft Appoints Saverio Merlo To Its Board Of Directors

San Mateo, CA - December 20, 2004 - Privately held Nimsoft today announced the appointment of industry veteran Saverio Merlo into the Nimsoft Board of Directors. Merlo brings to the Nimsoft Board business acumen and insight anchored by two decades of direct executive experience in the software industry.

In his new role, Saverio Merlo will serve as an advisor to the Nimsoft Executive team, focusing on the Company's long range business development functions, including venture and strategic investments, and the oversight of strategic alliances.
