Nimsoft Announces Financial Results For Third Quarter 2004

On A Record Quarter, Company Experiences 132 Percent Revenue Growth, 33 Percent Pretax Profits

San Mateo, CA - October 27, 2004 - Privately held Nimsoft today announced non-audited financial results for the third quarter ending on September 30, 2004. In the wake of the just completed merger between Nimbus Software and Converse Software, the combined new Nimsoft Company has completed a record quarter with total revenues and operating profits representing growth of respectively 132 percent and 202 percent compared to the third quarter of 2003, and 41 percent and 71 percent sequential growth compared to the prior quarter.

"The exceptionally strong year-to-year and sequential performance was driven by strong demand for the NimBUS service-level management product both in the US and European markets," said Anders Grindland, CEO of Nimsoft. "Additionally, strong growth derived from both sales to customers who could not previously afford the complexity of established systems management solutions, as well as sales into competitive or replacement situations."

Third Quarter Highlights

  • Completed the merger between Converse Software and Nimbus Software into new Nimsoft Company, combining the technological expertise of Nimbus Software with the distribution success of Converse Software. Nimsoft has now established direct offices in the United States, in addition to Norway and Sweden.
  • Secured more than 30 new customer deals both in Europe and US. The NimBUS advanced features for fast install, deployment and extreme ease-of-use continues to attract a vast number of medium- to large-sized enterprises.
  • Outpaced top systems management vendors in several customer wins due to product's usable functionality that is easy to install and deploy.
