Credit Agricole Replaces IBM Tivoli with Nimsoft Monitoring Solution

Leading Financial Institution Leverages NMS to Improve Service Levels, Simplify Operations

Redwood City, Calif.—January 21, 2010—Nimsoft, Inc., the first provider of Unified Monitoring™ solutions, announced that Credit Agricole Deveurope has deployed the Nimsoft Monitoring Solution (NMS) across its network infrastructure to monitor systems and applications that serve more than 11,000 brokers. NMS allows Credit Agricole Deveurope to reduce response times to loan inquiries and improve service levels to its customers with around-the-clock, Unified Monitoring.

Credit Agricole Deveurope is a Dutch subsidiary of the French bank Credit Agricole, one of the largest financial institutions in Europe. Credit Agricole Deveurope is one of the largest consumer finance institutions of the Netherlands with a history of almost 90 years. NMS is being used to monitor Credit Agricole Deveurope's applications and dealer interface, as well as its virtual services in a mixed VMware and IBM IT environment.

Credit Agricole Deveurope had been using IBM Tivoli monitoring solutions, but found they were too complicated and did not provide a high-level business view of system and application performance. Nimsoft proved easier to use and maintain and delivered the features needed in a single solution.

Nimsoft is also helping Credit Agricole Devereurope's IT department improve internal service levels by communicating better with various business units.

Credit Agricole Deveurope is now working with Nimsoft to develop requirements for a new interface, which can be used to monitor payment-processing forms sent through an external clearing house. This new interface will connect third-party suppliers with business processes in the Nimsoft environment.
