Nimsoft Press ReleaseDutch MSP Invests in NimBUS as it Expands Innovative New ServiceNimBUS chosen for its flexibility, robustness and affordability London, UK – 20th May, 2008 – Nimsoft, the “Big 4” alternative for IT performance and availability monitoring solutions, announced today that Insign IT, a Dutch-based managed service provider (MSP), has expanded its investment in NimBUS following a surge in business. The company has added the NimBUS End-to-End (E2E) solution to its existing application monitoring package to enable Insign IT to measure the total application response time right down to the end user. The move is based on the success of its Intakt Monitoring Services, a branded offering that is based on a system of credits. Insign IT deployed the NimBUS E2E solution in the first quarter of 2008. The ability to innovate and deliver new services is an essential requirement for any MSP that is developing its business. Insign IT identified a demand for managed services that was not based purely on expensive license fees. Rather, customers purchase credits that can be used over the course of a year on a range of services, from basic application monitoring to in-depth consultancy. This approach required an IT monitoring solution that was robust, flexible and above all, affordable. NimBUS proved to be the right solution to underpin the new service as it was simple to use, easy to deploy and provided Insign IT with the ability to scale the service in line with customer demand. “Insign IT is a small MSP but that hasn’t stopped us from pursuing new opportunities. The Intakt Monitoring Services initiative was a bold move on our part but we were confident of its success so long as the key components came together. One such component was the application monitoring solution that underpinned the offering. If we were to deliver a first class service, we had to know that the have the right solution to not only alert us to possible problems but allow us to take a more proactive stance with our customers. NimBUS was that solution,” said Leon Wijnhoven, Managing Director, Insign IT. “Since launching Intakt, we have attracted a new set of customers that would previously not have considered managed services to be within their budget. Importantly, NimBUS has allowed us to get closer to our customers and better understand their requirements by virtue of the open and transparent exchange we have with them. This has opened up a series of new opportunities and is the reason why we now plan to deploy the NimBUS E2E solution” he added. “Innovation is a key characteristic of the MSP market. However innovation counts for nothing if you are unable to execute. Insign IT’s investment in NimBUS is a perfect illustration of how we have engineered NimBUS to support the unique needs and requirements of the MSP community. Our application monitoring solution proved to be the cornerstone upon which Insign IT successfully launched their Intakt Monitoring Services initiative. Functionality, flexibility and fool-proof are some of the attributes best associated with NimBUS and these certainly came to the fore when Insign IT was contemplating which IT monitoring solution to select,” said Gary Read, president and CEO, Nimsoft. “Their decision to expand their investment in NimBUS, with the addition of our E2E solution, is a further reflection of the trust they have in Nimsoft to deliver a solution that will allow them to continue to grow their business,” he added.
