Nimsoft Financial Results Climb To New Record Highs

Sales Driven by Customers Who Want Alternatives to Expensive, Complex Frameworks

Redwood City, Calif. – May 8, 2007 - Nimsoft Inc., an emerging leader in service level management (SLM) solutions, today announced another quarter of solid financial results reconfirming the continued need of business-focused service level management solutions that customers can easily afford, deploy and use effectively. In Q1 2007, new sales orders for Nimsoft increased 83 percent year over year. Recurring revenue from Nimsoft’s customer base grew 91 percent, with much of this growth attributed to existing customers and managed service providers. More than 30 new brand-name customers were added this quarter. New customers for the company included consumer cosmetics Shiseido International Corporation and managed service providers NetExpert and Insign IT.

In Q1 2007, JMI Equity and Northzone Ventures provided $10.3 million in the company's first round of venture capital funding to help the already profitable company scale to the demands of a high growth marketplace. The company also reached its 100th employee milestone and opened a sales and support office in New York City.

The first quarter also brought significant product developments:

  • Nimsoft announced a cooperative development agreement with Oracle to integrate NimBUS with Oracle® Enterprise Manager 10g.  The two companies are working together to develop and jointly market the NimBUS SAP R/3 Plug In, which will provide Oracle customers the ability to monitor and manage SAP R/3.
  • Multi-Tenant NimBUS enables IT staff members to generate on-demand customer or business specific information from the NimBUS Enterprise Console.
  •  "No Touch NimBUS" delivers on the next stage of the Nimsoft vision of having a completely zero administration SLM solution. NimBUS automatically discovers IT infrastructure components, deploys pre-configured monitoring and automatically populates a series of real-time dashboard views and historical reports.
