Nimsoft Brings Real-Time Service Level Management to Microsoft Environments

Broadened NimBUS Suite Offers In-Depth Intelligence, New Control to Microsoft Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, IIS and SQL Server Applications

Redwood City, California – January 29, 2007 –Nimsoft Inc., a leading provider of service level management solutions, announced today that it has broadened its software suite to provide new levels of in-depth intelligence and dynamic visibility into the end-to-end monitoring and management of mission-critical Microsoft applications. NimBUS for Microsoft Applications brings customers proactive monitoring and reporting to help them comply with service level agreements for business services. NimBUS for Microsoft Applications is available today.

NimBUS for Microsoft Applications is the most complete and comprehensive approach to managing and monitoring strategic Microsoft applications in real time. The NimBUS suite brings significant new management capabilities that enable more granular control of strategic Microsoft applications, from distributed directory services and database software to messaging and collaboration software. Far beyond the industry standard of simple log monitoring, the NimBUS suite is capable of performance measurements of critical application functions to help customers identify specific trouble spots in addition to broader views of application availability and standards of service.

NimBUS provides dynamic visibility into the number and size of emails being sent by an organization as well as resource consequences, such as bandwidth and disk space utilization.  NimBUS can improve backup and restore times for Exchange, reducing significant legal, privacy and security exposures.

NimBUS monitors the internal performance and space allocation throughout the SQL Server database to ensure peak performance and availability, even in distributed environments.
