Nimsoft Appoints Seasoned Managed Services Executive to Management Team

Phil LaForge Chartered with Building on Success in Managed Service Provider Market

Redwood City, Calif. – September 01, 2009 – Nimsoft, the alternative to Big 4 IT performance and availability monitoring solutions, today announced that it has appointed industry veteran Phil LaForge to the role of vice president and general manager of its managed services business.

LaForge comes to Nimsoft after a long tenure with CDW Berbee, where he grew the business in excess of 300% in 3 years with high double digit margins. In his new role, LaForge will interact with all areas of Nimsoft—including development, marketing, sales, business development, support, and finance—to both set the company’s strategy in the managed service provider (MSP) market and to help ensure it is executed effectively.
