Nimsoft Enjoys Continued Growth and Positive Cash Flow
Monthly Recurring Revenue up 40% over Prior Year as Customers Continue to Recognize the Unique Value from the Nimsoft Platform
Redwood City, Calif. – July 27, 2009 – Nimsoft, the alternative to Big 4 IT performance and availability monitoring solutions, today announced another quarter of growth, profitability, and positive cash flow. For the quarter ending June 30, 2009, Nimsoft saw monthly recurring revenue grow by 40% from the prior year, and its order backlog was up nearly 60% demonstrating ongoing demand for its solutions remains strong.
The quarter represented the second largest in terms of sales, which increased by more than 50% over the prior quarter. At the same time, careful fiscal management enabled Nimsoft to deliver solid profitability both for the quarter and for the year to date, and to realize another quarter of positive cash flow.
Bolstered by continued product innovation and responsive, expert service and support, the company continues to see strong product adoption in mid-to-large enterprises. Nimsoft received a significant order from one of the world’s leading financial organizations, which opted to do a replacement of HP’s monitoring solutions. By deploying Nimsoft, enterprise clients see significant cost savings over legacy solutions—while improving performance of vital business services, streamlining IT administration, and more fully leveraging existing infrastructure investments.
Managed Service Providers (MSPs), hosting providers, and cloud computing providers continue to move to the Nimsoft platform because it enables them to scale their business in a profitable manner. Nimsoft recently announced that the established MSP, Atrion Networking, replaced the Dell Remote Monitoring platform and several point solutions with the Nimsoft solution. Nimsoft is rapidly becoming the de-facto monitoring standard for mid-to-large MSPs due to the unparalleled breadth of coverage; the intuitive, sophisticated visualization enabled by its customer-facing portals; and the immense scalability of the solution.
“In any economic climate organizations are well-served by gaining improved efficiency and cutting costs—but those objectives are especially vital today,” said Gary Read, president and CEO of Nimsoft. “Enterprises and MSPs continue to prove that our products help on both fronts and deliver real bottom-line benefits. As a result, we continue to gain market share and can be considered the only viable alternative to the large, legacy vendors.”
Following are a few additional highlights from the company’s most recent quarter:
