Nimsoft President and CEO Gary Read to Join MSPAlliance Vendor Advisory Board
Redwood City, California - February 11, 2008 – Nimsoft Inc., the “Big 4” alternative for IT performance and availability monitoring solutions, today announced the MSPAlliance appointed the company’s president and CEO Gary Read to its Vendor Advisory Board. The MSPA Vendor Advisory Board will help increase the visibility of managed services worldwide and serve as an advocate for best practices. Executive board members will address and resolve vendor-specific issues related to creating technical standards, supporting the global MSP profession, and improving relationships between vendors and MSPs.
Gary Read has more than 20 years experience in the high tech business. In 2002, Gary Read founded Converse Software and rapidly built a global reseller organization successfully delivering cost-effective, performance and availability monitoring solutions. In 2004, Converse Software merged with Nimsoft Software, which became Nimsoft. Previously, Read served as vice president of marketing at BMC Software and also as vice president of sales and marketing at RiverSoft. He was instrumental in RiverSoft’s successful IPO and the eventual acquisition by Micromuse.
