Web Developer - Redwood City, CA

Skills Required:

Content developer

Building Nimsoft websites and microsites from the ground up

Experience building internet and intranet sites built from the ground up, html email templates and landing pages, website applications, microsites, etc.

Work with UI designer to design web application user experience and user interfaces.

Regular content updates and additions for all company web properties

Develop scripts and applications that connect to a database to enhance site interactivity

Develop html for newsletters, email, landing pages, etc. to support marketing activities

Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP website development

Hand-code HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP

Server side scripting with JSP

Experience with AJAX, Flex and Web 2.0 concepts

Demonstrated knowledge of XML, experience using XML, XML DOM, and manipulating XML using JavaScript DOM interfaces

Basic Java and J2EE knowledge

Well versed in modern, semantic markup

Experience developing for cross-browser compatibility (including IE, Mozilla/Firefox, Opera, and Safari).

At least 6 years of web developer experience

Requirements:
This is a full-time position. The Web Developer will be required to work in the Redwood City office.
