Corporate Account Representative (CAR) - Redwood City, CA
Position Summary:
Senior Inside Sales Position with revenue quota responsibility for Nimsoft product sales. Qualify, manage and close sales opportunities in new and existing accounts, in a Geographic territory.
Gain and maintain product and competitive knowledge utilizing Nimsoft resources including, but not limited to organized training, lunch and learns, internal technical contacts and management team.
Participate in all meetings, and company sponsored sales events as sanctioned by management team.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals (individual and team) within a specified territory on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Responsible for consistently meeting sales activity metrics on a weekly basis
- Responsible for following up on all assigned leads turned over by the Territory Development team to drive sales opportunities in a timely manner
- Responsible for uncovering additional Nimsoft product opportunities through targeted prospecting and install base mining
- Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales activity throughout the sales cycle in Salesforce.com.
- Ensure strong client/prospect communication and follow-up by documenting all designated calls-to-action, follow-up dates, complete profile information, lead source, and prospect interaction in SFDC
- Update opportunity status in SFDC to ensure accurate forecasting and deal history, for tracking and management reporting
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process on all opportunities including ongoing qualification, demonstration, evaluation, close and implementation. Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
- Conduct WebEx demos and manage prospect download trials
- Responsible for coordinating appropriate resources throughout the sales cycle including System Engineer contacts for prospects while evaluating technology.
- Build and manage pipeline of opportunities sufficient to consistently meet and exceed monthly quarterly and annual quota objectives
- Participate in weekly strategy discussions of forecasted opportunities with direct and indirect management team
- Responsible for accurately forecasting all opportunities based on Nimsoft sales model and opportunity management definitions
- Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success
- Provide feed back to marketing on quality of inquiries/leads obtained through various marketing/sales vehicles.
- Work within the specified hours of assigned territory to maximize productivity
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a sales leader including overachievement of sales revenue goals, accurate pipeline and forecasting management, excellent account management skills , and a strong desire to ensure customer success
- Experience selling into a complex, competitive marketplace with success
- Understanding of consultative sales process
- Track record of success working within a teamed Field and Inside sales model
- 5 plus years quota carrying experience in direct high tech software sales
- College Degree required/preferred
- Exemplary communication skills, coaching skills, and good business judgment are required
- A self-starter with a track record of successful experience selling to multiple executive levels within an organization
- Minimum of 5 years successful experience selling to CIO and Director of IT levels in systems management marketplace – CA Unicenter, BMC Patrol, IBM Tivoli, HP Openview, NetIQ Solarwinds, Kaseya
- Strong skills including:
- Pre-call planning
- Opportunity qualification and objection handling
- Call structure and control
- Account development
- Time and territory management
- Proven track record achieving revenue goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system was required
- Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
- Experience and success working within a quota and commission structure
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- The highest level of integrity
- Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office)
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Sales training, WebEx and SFDC experience a plus
